Tutorial
This card-catalog program will enable you to determine what resources are owned by UALC's libraries. You can also obtain and print detailed content information about most of our resources. Search by topic, author, title or media type. There are several ways to search. Click on either the Combo, Expert or Visual buttons on the left of the screen. Or, choose the Basic search window near the top. Try several methods to see what works best for you. For more specifics about search functions, click on "Help" located at the left.

Use this program to generate a printable list of resources (shopping list) that you are interested in looking at. For example, search using the word "prayer." Double click on any title that interests you. This will display the complete card catalog listing. To return to your search, click "Back to Search Results" in the upper right portion of the screen. To create your shopping list, place a check-mark in the box located in front of the title and click on "Add to Mediography." Any time you want to review your shopping list, click on "Mediography."

You can print any card catalog record or mediography list by using the keyboard "print" command. The Call Number will help locate each item on the shelf. Our library volunteers will be glad to assist you.

You cannot use this program to determine if an item has been checked out. The green status column which indicates an item is "in" is not operable at this time. However, items marked "lost" are accurate.

You cannot use this program to reserve an item.

Reference books do not circulate and are available only at Lytham Road.

Reserve dvds and videos are available at Lytham and Mill Run in the locked display cases near the church receptionist desk. See the receptionist for help checking out reserved items.

In order to check-out materials, use the sign-out card and include your name and phone number. Books circulate for 1 month and dvds for 1 week. Please return what you borrow so others may use them!
